Why do I need bookkeeping?
Having good bookkeeping will ensure you have efficient, accurate and up to date accounting systems that can provide quality reports for your business. Quality information is the key to making informed commercial decisions and having a qualified bookkeeper will ensure timely and accurate reports.
Are you qualified?
The Director of Sage Business Support, Nikki Fraser is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a Certificate in Public Practice as well as being an Associate in Practice of The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.
Are you bookkeepers or accountants?
We are both!  A one stop shop for everything from data entry to management accounting or business start-ups.  We do not however do compliance such as preparing and lodging your tax returns (boring!).  We focus on the value add accounting services that help you understand and grow your business.
Why should I outsource my bookkeeping?
Outsourcing your bookkeeping will give you time to focus on your area of expertise while we focus on ours!
Do I need to clean up my books before I hand them over?
Not at all. We can assure you that you are not alone and we see this all the time. We know how busy life can get sometimes and often compliance is not your number one priority but we can absolutely get you up to date and keep you up to date. Whatever state your accounts are currently in we guarantee we can fix them.

Can I stay with my existing accounting software if I work with you?
Of course. If your software is keeping your business running, then there’s no reason to change it. We recommend Xero as our preferred system because it can be accessed anywhere and it lets us use other software for receipt scanning and uploading, keeping paper to a minimum. We find many of our clients like this option better than what they currently have, but as always, it is about what’s best for your business.
Are you a registered BAS agent?
Yes, yes yes!  We also have an automatic 4-week extension granted on BAS Lodgements enabling you to get an extra 4 weeks to plan for lodgement and save for payment.
Can you work at my premises?
Of course, we can comfortably work at your premises or from a remote location. It is entirely up to you.
How do we get started?
Give us a call or send us an email and we’ll arrange to come see you so that we can learn a little more about you and your business, as well as telling you about ourselves.  The first meeting is complimentary and obligation free.
What areas do you service?
We are based in St Andrews Beach on the Mornington Peninsula and work from Sorrento to Mornington but we can and do work from the cloud with businesses across Australia.
